Does TRICARE cover birth control?

- diaphragm
- foams, jellies, sprays or sponges that need a prescription
Does TRICARE cover vaccines?

Retired Reserve members (gray-area retirees) who are:
Members of the Retired Reserve Component who qualify for non-regular retirement under 10 U.S.C., Chapter 1223; Under age 60; and Not eligible for or enrolled in the Federal Employee Health Benefits program.
Family members of qualified Retired Reserve members. Survivors of Retired Reserve members if they meet certain criteria.

CHAMPVA and TRICARE (previously called CHAMPUS), are often mistaken for each other. CHAMPVA is a Department of Veterans Affairs health care program. It’s for spouses and dependent children of disabled or deceased disabled veterans. TRICARE is a Department of Defense health care program. It’s for uniformed service members and their families.
