Munsar lake was built about 1090 by Minaldevi, the mother of Siddhraj Jaisinh. Gathering from the west, the water passes into a stone-built eightsided silt-well, kund, with, in a niche in each side, a figure cut in bold relief.

A new municipality building of Viramgam town in Ahmedabad district was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Rupani and named as ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee’ bhavan. The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore.With this, the Chief Minister also launched construction of new town hall and bus station in Viramgam. The bus station of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) will come up at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore in Viramgam while a new town hall will see expenditure of Rs 3 crore.
