History
Rogue Credit Union’s origin dates back to 1956 when a group of educators gathered at Jefferson Elementary Cafeteria to start what is now the credit union. Despite its humble beginnings, the credit union began operating from Jim Johnston’s living room and later his garage, with the support of his wife, Harriet. With years of history and constant growth, Rogue implemented a System Upgrade in 2021, enabling the credit union to offer its members the latest financial services, technology, and information security. Additionally, Rogue completed its merger with Malheur Federal Credit Union, expanding its membership by over 14,000 individuals.
