Vehicle Registration Change of Address
A change of address is common between Motor Vehicle Registrations. Residents are strongly encouraged to notify the Motor Vehicle Licensing office within 30 days of a mailing address change. This ensures reminders of vehicle registration will be sent to the correct address. Residents may also visit one of the County’s Motor Vehicle Licensing offices to update their mailing address.

Mailing Address for Renewing Registrations
To renew your registration by mail:
- Mail the renewal application form along with your check for the amount indicated or submit the last issued certificate of registration. Please contact their office at (808) 270-7363 to obtain the amount due.
- Make checks payable to County Director of Finance
- Enclose a copy of your current Vehicle Inspection Certificate if it is noted on your renewal form
- If your renewal application indicates that you have outstanding traffic violation(s), you are required to submit a written clearance for that vehicle before your application can be processed. To obtain a written clearance, please contact the Traffic Violations Bureau located at 2145 Main Street, Wailuku, HI 96793. Telephone: (808)-244-2800
